Crowe Barre Mind/Body Studio in Newton, MA was founded by Denise Crowe and Julie Chrzan, both highly trained with a combined 25+ years of experience in the barre industry. Denise and Julie believe that exercise should empower you, enhance your life, and give you the energy and strength to accomplish everyday tasks. Crowe Barre offers a well-balanced, varied program of classes that re-energize your every day and transform your life by allowing you to be the best version of yourself.

Crowe Barre’s signature 60-minute barre class builds strength, increases flexibility, and improves well-being using proper alignment and form.
This high energy 45-minute mat class flows seamlessly from one exercise to the next, with options for low and high impact movements and an emphasis on the gluteals and core. Done entirely on a yoga mat, class will use light and heavy weights and may also utilize Core Balls, gliders, and resistance bands. Sneakers, bare feet, or socks can be worn for class.
A 30-minute interval-based combination of cardio, strength and core conditioning designed to safely stretch your limits! Done on a mat with light and/or heavy weights.
Sneakers recommended but not required.
Definitively the best teaching team of any barre studio in the Boston area, run by two of the best teachers in the city (Denise and Julie). The space is gorgeous and welcoming, and parking is a breeze (public lot across street, and plenty of street parking when I hit the lunch class). Highly recommend.
Excellent place! My first ever barre class was challenging and exciting. Denise is an amazing instructor and she motivates you throughout the entire class, always making sure that you’re doing the exercises properly, correcting your posture.
